How Participating Programs Were Chosen

Doctoral programs participating in the Completion Project represent a cross-section of MU academic colleges (Arts & Sciences, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine) and include four in the humanities and social sciences and six in the natural and physical sciences.

The programs were selected because of past involvement in University and Graduate School diversity initiatives, a demonstrated commitment to improving recruitment practices and graduate student services, and because of an expressed commitment to enhancing doctoral completion rates.
