Community of Science is one of the premier databases on funding opportunities. Includes government, private foundations, nonprofit organizations and professional societies. MU subcribes to this service so it is provided free to active students.

Students.gov provides a list of government funding opportunities for graduate students.

The MU Fellowships Office provides a list of nationally prestigious fellowships & scholarships.

Writing Resources and Application Tips

The MU Graduate School provides a Blackboard site with extensive resources for writing fellowship and scholarship applications. To sign up, login to Blackboard at Mizzou's Learning Communities. Click on the My Mizzou tab. Under the Organization Catalog, select the Student folder. Scroll to grad_writer and click enroll. The next time you log into Blackboard, the site will be under My Organizations. This is a free resource for MU graduate and professional students, available 24 hours a day, including weekends.
