Donald K. Anderson Teaching & Research Assistant Awards

A department may nominate one graduate student for the Donald K. Anderson Graduate Teaching Assistant Award and one graduate student for the Donald K. Anderson Graduate Research Assistant Award. A committee composed of faculty members and a past recipient of this award will make the final selections.

Winners of the Donald K. Anderson awards, along with winners of the MU Distinguished Masters Thesis and Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Awards, will be recognized at a Graduate School Awards Reception ceremony to be held in 2008. The awards will consist of an honorarium ($500–$1,000 depending on the number of awardees) and an appropriately inscribed memento.

There will be a minimum of two Anderson awards (one for teaching and one for research) and a maximum of four (two for each). The names of award recipients will be displayed on a permanent plaque in the Graduate School.
