Professional Presentation Travel Scholarships
Eligibility
University of Missouri ABD students (doctoral students who have successfully completed doctoral comprehensive/matriculation examinations and have been admitted to doctoral candidacy) are eligible for Professional Presentation Travel Scholarships.
Priority is given to ABD students who appear on conference programs specifically as invited presenters. Also, as these Scholarships are intended to encourage and assist the professional development of doctoral candidates, consideration will be given to requests received from ABD students who will make presentations that are other than “invited presentations” (e.g., poster presentations).
Use of Scholarship
These scholarships are to be used to defray transportation expenses associated with travel to professional meetings (e.g., annual conferences of professional societies).
