CheckboxDay of the Ceremony Check-In

Although the ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m., we ask that you arrive by 7:00 p.m. at the field house. The entrance is located on the east corner of the Hearnes Center. Please check in at the appropriate table. Due to the number of details to coordinate, we ask for your cooperation in assembling and lining up early for the processional. For doctoral students, please make sure the faculty person who will be hooding you also knows to arrive at 7:00 p.m.

CheckboxOrder Ceremony Regalia, Announcements and Other Mementoes If Desired

All candidates must wear academic attire at the ceremony. Caps, gowns, tassels and hoods can be obtained from the University Bookstore, (573) 882-7611. Be sure to pick up your academic attire at the bookstore prior to the ceremony. The deadline to order your cap, gown, tassel and hood is November 13, 2009. They do not keep a large supply of doctoral attire in stock so order early.

Before you order your ceremony regalia please review the Graduate Hood Colors chart to determine your hood trim color.

For a discount on your order, the University Bookstore holds a graduation fair each semester where various graduation vendors will be available. Attend the Fall Graduation Fair October13th and 14th between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to receive a discount on regalia. The Bookstore Web site also has links to recommended companies for announcements, diploma frames and master’s regalia.

CheckboxGraduation Photographs

Chappell Graduation Images will be providing a candid photography service at your commencement. Each graduate will have his/her picture taken at the moment they receive their commemorative diploma cover. A full color proof can then be viewed at the following website: http://www.gradimages.com. There is no obligation to purchase these pictures, and since all graduates receiving diploma covers will be photographed, there is no need to contact Chappell Graduation Images prior to graduation.
