Graduate Faculty Nomination

There is a formal application for Graduate Faculty membership, depending on the specific faculty situation. Use the following information to determine if the nominee needs to send an e-mail message or complete the form below:

Situation 1

Holds a regular MU appointment with a professorial title (e.g., Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor).

To be added to the Graduate Faculty, send an e-mail request with electronic copy of current curriculum vitae to Ruth Erwin (erwinr@missouri.edu).

Situation 2

Holds a non-regular MU appointment with a professorial title and earned the terminal degree in the field.

To be added to the Graduate Faculty, send an e-mail request with electronic copy of current curriculum vitae to Ruth Erwin (erwinr@missouri.edu).

Situation 3

Holds a non-professorial title.

Complete the form below and send it with the requested information in c/o of Ruth Erwin, Graduate School, 210 Jesse Hall.

Situation 4

Holds a non-regular MU appointment with a professorial title, but has not earned the terminal degree in the field.

Send the form with the requested information in c/o of Ruth Erwin, Graduate School, 210 Jesse Hall.

Note: The current University of Missouri Policy on Records Management requires that Doctoral Faculty membership applications be microfilmed and retained; therefore, printed copies of the nomination packet are required.
