Annual Review of Graduate Student Progress
The Graduate Student Progress System (GSPS) is a Web-based reporting system where students document their progress toward degree completion. All graduate students (i.e., in all disciplines) are required to submit an annual progress report by starting/updating a GSPS record. Faculty members review students' GSPS reports to help make an assessment of student progress toward degree completion. Since 2006, all department/degree programs are required to provide annual review information to their students, including details about the process, annual review requirements and the GSPS. Students may find annual review and GSPS information in degree program print and e-publications, on degree program Web pages and at new student orientation.
The student view of the Graduate Student Progress System is divided into two work sections: information required by the Graduate School and other information that may be required by the degree program. Students must complete GSPS sections required by both entities. A bonus feature: students can use their GSPS records to create a custom CV or resume.
Questions? The GSPS provides online guides and help for each screen. Look in the upper right corner of the GSPS screen for the User Guides (or the Help feature once inside the system.) Also available:
