Prerequisites

The focus of the Doctor of Philosophy program is development of professional educators for teacher certification programs in agriculture. To be admitted, candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of professional experience in a field related to agricultural education.

Graduation Requirements

The PhD program requires a minimum of 72 credit hours, a post-baccalaureate degree (to include a minimum of 9 hours of 9090 research and 12 credit hours of course work that focuses on developing an area of expertise). Candidates must also complete an approved dissertation based on original research.
