About the Program

The Minor in College Teaching program provides additional preparation for advanced graduate students seeking college teaching careers. This interdisciplinary minor is available to enrolled doctoral students in all approved graduate programs at the University of Missouri.

Plan of Study

The Minor in College Teaching is taken in addition to the courses required by the student’s major department and requires a minimum of 12 hours of course work (including a teaching practicum) selected from a list of required and elective courses.
