About the Certificate Program

The MU Graduate School offers a graduate certificate in the Responsible Conduct of Research. We recommend the certificate program to students who will be pursuing research careers in business and industry, and those interested in academic positions with a research component. Knowledge and abilities gained through RCR courses are readily transferrable to the workplace and are valued by employers across disciplines.

Eligibility

Doctoral and postdoctoral students from all disciplines are eligible to participate.

How do I apply?

  • Successfully finish the courses listed above.
  • Complete the online form to indicate completion of requirements.
  • The certificate is issued to the student. The certificate does not appear on the academic transcript.

Program Availability

The certificate has been available since fall 2005.
