Eligibility
The Women’s and Gender Studies minor is available to all students pursuing a graduate degree at MU.
Plan of Study
15 credit hours will be chosen to complement the student’s main area of graduate study. Students may take up to six hours in their home department.
Six Required Credit Hours 8000 or 9000-level seminar in feminist theory offered through History, Sociology, Political Science or English.
WGST 8040 Seminar: Problems and Issues in Feminist Scholarship. This seminar will address research across a range of disciplines reflecting different methodological approaches.
All courses will be selected in consultation with the student’s graduate adviser and the director of women’s and gender studies.
