About Preparing Future Faculty

The Preparing Future Faculty program helps doctoral students and postdocs learn about faculty roles and job expectations--teaching, research, scholarship, external funding, and service. PFF participants have an opportunity to meet with faculty members from MU, regional universities, and community colleges. The PFF program includes the PFF seminar course and a series of PFF professional development workshops related to academic careers.

The aim of all PFF programming is to ensure that future faculty are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
