About the Fall Preview Weekend

As a vital component of its mission, the Graduate School at the University of Missouri–Columbia Graduate School works to increase the representation of African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians and other underserved and under-represented segments of the population in graduate study.

We invite prospective graduate students from under-represented groups (African-American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latino or Native Pacific Islander) who have a serious interest in coming to MU to apply for a spot in Emerge, our Graduate School preview weekend.

What Emerge Can Do for You

  • Learn about the opportunities for research and academic growth available to students at MU, a leading research university
  • Meet current grad students and contacts in your program of interest
  • Collect information about the admissions process and funding sources

An Expenses-Paid Visit

All costs associated with official events of the weekend (travel, lodging, meals, all scheduled activities) are paid by the Graduate School.
