Proposal Writing Resources

The Graduate School offers an extensive set of free online proposal writing resources via BlackBoard™, available 24–7. The site features:

• Writing resources for fellowships, scholarships and grants
• Links to funding databases and funding search tips
• Basic budgeting information
• Worksheets for abstracts, research plans and concept papers
• Overview of evaluation and logic models
• Links to writing examples

How to Use the Resources

1. Go to the University’s BlackBoard™ site and log in with your PawPrint.
2. Click on the My Mizzou tab
3. Under Organization Catalog, select the Student folder.
4. Scroll to the gradwriter row and click on "enroll" at the far right. Wait for processing. Click submit.
5. You will find the site under My organizations the next time you log in to Blackboard.
