The purpose of this workshop is to discuss educational behaviors as a tool to facilitate retention and persistence of new majority students in STEM courses. Learners successfully completing this workshop will be able to:
• Discuss educational behaviors of STEM students;
• Summarize strengths & limitations of latent class/profile analysis; and
• Identify innovative learning and academic support strategies to engage learners and promote retention and persistence of STEM students from historically underrepresented communities.
