Dr. Susan Renoe is Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension & Engagement at the University of Missouri. In her current role, Susan works to strengthen the university’s impact through reciprocal and sustained relationships between researchers and communities. With a history in developing and implementing programs for broader impacts, outreach and engagement, her experience and advice becomes invaluable when preparing those obligatory broader impact statements for nationally funded grant schemes. For this Keynote, Susan will relay some of her experience with what makes a successful broader impact statement and how to go about developing a program that is both meaningful and high impact.
