Ryo Yokoyama earned his PhD from Kyoto University, Japan. His research explores various mechanisms of plant chemical production, including photosynthesis, through an integrative approach combining plant genetics, biochemistry, and advanced chemical profiling. His goal is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of plant metabolism that provides insights into enhancing plant biomass and crop productivity in agricultural systems.
