The purpose of the Survey of Earned Doctorates is to collect demographic data on students completing a doctoral degree at the University of Missouri.
The survey is conducted on a nationwide scale through six federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation and National Institutes for Health.
The Survey of Earned Doctorates is now submitted online. Your personal data remain confidential. Resulting national reports contain aggregated data.

By signing this document, you also verify that you have obtained permission from the owner(s) of all third-party copyrighted matter.
Thesis and Dissertation Publishing Agreement
The purpose of this process is to obtain your approval to allow UMI/Proquest to process your research.
In addition, this process is used to verify that you have obtained the necessary copyright permissions on all third-party work. If you choose to pay the optional fee, this company will also file copyright paperwork on your behalf.
You will select either the “Traditional Publishing” option or the “Open Access Publishing” option, then review and select from the additional publishing options. Please note: All works submitted to the Graduate School will automatically be made available on the Internet (in compliance with the terms specified in your release form) at MOspace.
