Finding a part-time job while pursuing your graduate studies can be a great way to gain valuable experience, earn extra income, and connect with the campus community. Here are some tips to help you get started.
September 3: Part-Time Campus Job Fair
This Thursday, September 4, head over to Lowry Mall 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for the Part-Time Campus Job Fair. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet on- and off-campus employers in person. Remember to bring your student ID, copies of your resume, and your class schedule. Casual dress is welcome, but be prepared to make a great first impression. Hosted by the MU Career Center. Handshake is Mizzou’s job-finding platform, and most on-campus employers promote their open positions here. Create a profile and regularly check for job postings that align with your skills and interests. This platform connects you directly with campus employers who are eager to hire students.
