Graduate Program Restart
To help graduate students who were unsuccessful previously to have a fresh restart for the same graduate degree program at MU. The student must apply to the restart program and meet the following criteria: Status of credits and grades from the previous graduate program(s) at MU:

All applicants must: (1) have earned a U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an institutionally accredited college or university. Choosing an Advisor
To complete a graduate degree at the University of Missouri, a graduate student must have a doctoral and/or graduate faculty advisor or co-advisors. When admitted to a graduate program, many students are immediately assigned to a faculty advisor through an existing structured and supportive process. In some cases, however (and based on the graduate program), a student is assigned an interim advisor until the student identifies a faculty advisor who will direct their Thesis or Dissertation research. Fellowship and Assistantship Acceptance Deadline
The University of Missouri is a signatory to the Council of Graduate Schools’ April 15 Resolution regarding the offering and acceptance of financial aid. Specifically, students are under no obligation to respond to offers of financial support for the coming academic year before April 15. When a student accepts an offer before this date and subsequently desires to withdraw that acceptance, the student may submit in writing a resignation of the appointment at any time. Medical Requirements
The University of Missouri requires all new students to submit an MU Immunization/TB Screening Requirements form and verification of TB screening before registering for classes. The completed form must be submitted directly to the MU Student Health Center.
