Degree-seeking applicants pay a non-refundable application processing fee of $75 (U.S. citizens and permanent residents) or $100 (nonresident internationals). Non-degree seeking applicants and graduate certificate applicants pay a $40 application fee.
Application fees are paid through the application system at the time of application submission. MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express, Diner’s Club, DinaCard, BCcard, JCB, and UnionPay are accepted. A separate application fee is required for each application. Applications are valid for three semesters after the original application term.
Application Fee Waivers
The Graduate School will waive the application fee for the following applicant groups:
- Pell Grant recipients (within the past five years) who are Missouri residents. Verification is required during the application process.
- Participants in AmeriCorps, The Missouri College Advising Corps (advisors), The U.S. Peace Corps, and Teach for America who are Missouri residents. Verification is required during the application process.
- Honorably discharged U.S. military veterans or current service members. Acceptable documentation includes a copy of active duty orders for currently serving members or a copy discharge papers (form DD214) for veterans. Verification is required during the application process.
If you are not a Pell Grant recipient or you have not participated in one of the select preparatory or service programs, please check with your academic program to see if it has a fee payment policy. Some academic programs will pay the application fee for applicants in certain instances.
To receive a waiver for one of the circumstances listed above, start your application for admission, select the applicable preparatory or service program, and you will receive further instructions in the application system.
