Policies
The Graduate School oversees academic policy set by the Graduate Faculty of the University of Missouri, as represented in the Graduate Faculty Senate. In addition, the Graduate School operates through a set of regular practices that ensure service to students and faculty and a consistency of operation for post-baccalaureate education. In this section are collected the set of policies and procedures through which we adminster graduate education at MU. Policies that specifically follow actions of the Graduate Faculty Senate include the date of the senate's action, if known. Other policies may relate to the general will of the graduate faculty, external requirements, including immigration and other law, accreditation, and other operations of the university. The Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost of Advanced Studies has the role of dean of the graduate faculty and the graduate student body and is charged with administration of all MU graduate programs.
