Dr. Fateme Khodadadi is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center at the University of Missouri. She earned her M.Sc. from Razi University and her Ph.D. in Science from Shiraz University in Iran. Her research focuses on the mechanisms of structural and synaptic plasticity in brainstem and spinal cord receptors following pharmacologic and surgical interventions. She studies the resulting changes in cardiorespiratory, autonomic, and lower urinary tract functions. She enjoys learning about cultural differences, as well as driving, cooking, trying new dishes, and spending time with family and friends.
