Columbia Area Career Center Adult Education & Literacy
This adult program is free and new students can be added to in-progress classes every few weeks. A pre-test is required for class placement, and a post-test is required to keep this program funded by the government and free to students.
ESL/EAP classes at Columbia College
Full-time and part-time students are welcome to take English for Academic Purposes courses at Columbia College. Intermediate and advanced classes are available. Spoken language skills are covered in the courses EAPP 103 and EAPP 104, Oral Communication Skills I and II. EAPP classes at Columbia College earn college credit hours that fit into elective hours in most degree programs.
