Pivot Funding Opportunities Database
Pivot provides a comprehensive database of funding opportunities and an expertise database to help identify potential collaborators within MU and at institutions around the world. The website also allows you to set up automated funding alerts based on keywords and areas of interest.
The Connector aims to build broader impacts through active, reciprocal, and sustained relationships between research and communities.
Responsible Conduct of Research
The MU CITI curriculum includes modules for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training in any of various academic disciplines, training that is required by many federal funding agencies.
Institutional Research Board (IRB) Human Subjects Research Training
Scholars who plan to conduct research involving human subjects must complete CITI training in advance. To learn more about IRB and whether it is needed for a particular research project, refer here.
Research compliance is a complex administrative area and includes research integrity, human subjects protection (the Institutional Review Board (IRB), research animal care and welfare (Office of Animal Resources, Animal Care Quality Assurance and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee), Export Controls, Classified and Sensitive Research, Lobbying Activities, and Conflict of Interest.
