Dr. Erin Andres earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from Regis University and then her M.A. and Ph.D. in Child Language from the University of Kansas. Her doctoral program was interdisciplinary, and she specifically approached the study of language impairment from both linguistic and human molecular genetic perspectives. She is continuing her training in the multidisciplinary environment of the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Stephen Sheinkopf. Her current research aims to identify early predictors of autism and measure the earliest drivers of developmental differences. Dr. Andres loved teaching Research Methods during graduate school and plans to continue her career in academia. When she isn’t working you can find her playing a board game with friends and family or completing a barre fitness class.
