Dr. Fazle Elahi

Dr. Fazle Elahi is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medical Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. His research focuses on how oxidative stress changes structure and function of blood vessels supplying the brain and eye. Previously, Fazle received a prestigious Brain Pool Fellowship from the National Research Foundation in South Korea. Dr. Elahi is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry and has played a pivotal role in the development of commercial products aimed at assisting diabetic patients. As an R&D Manager, he played a pivotal role in the development of two commercial products aimed at assisting diabetic patients in managing their blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Fazle’s passion for bridging the gap between academia and industry is evident in his enthusiasm for researching and implementing commercialization strategies from conception to market delivery.
