“I don’t need to know about accessibility unless I get an accommodation request.” Let’s bury this belief for good! After this session, you will be able to explain why accessible learning is necessary—even if you think your students “don’t need it.” We will discuss the incidence and prevalence of common disabilities, how they present barriers to learning, and why many students do not register with the Disability Center.
