I am a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Koo Lab, Dept. of Biochemistry, University of Missouri-Columbia. Funded by NSF, our work explores modulating jasmonate biosynthesis in response to mechanical wounding. I hold a PhD in Plant Cell Biology from the University of Bonn, Germany, with a focus on jasmonate signaling and drought stress resistance in Arabidopsis thaliana. I did my MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Bangladesh Agricultural University. I am dedicated to advancing the understanding of plant stress adaptation mechanisms.
