📚 Extended Library Hours

Ellis Library will be open 24/7 to accommodate your study needs during finals week. Need personalized help? Schedule a consultation with your subject librarian.

📝 Writing Support

For dedicated writing time, sign up for the Graduate Student Finals Week Writing Retreat on Dec. 12. To work one-on-one with a Graduate Writing Support tutor, log on to with your pawprint and password. Schedule a Zoom or in-person appointment through Dec. 14 or submit your drafts to the Online Writery, open for submission 24/7/365, to receive written feedback on your work.

Need a space for a group project or a quiet place to study? Study rooms are available throughout campus, offered by University Libraries and Missouri Student Unions.

🌈 Take Breaks!

Don’t forget to take a break to increase your productivity! Mizzou offers a variety of events (some with food) to take a break. These are not just for undergraduates!

  • Take a “Brain Break” with Campus Activities Programming Board. Snacks and an activity will be provided in the Student Center Food Court on Dec. 5 and Dec 6, 1 to 4 pm.
  • Destress by hanging out with a puppy! Drop by the Townsend Hall Lobby for “Paws” for Stress Relief on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 11 am to Noon.
  • The Career Center encourages student employees are welcome to drop by the Student Success Center on Wednesday, Dec 6, 1:30 to 3:30 pm for coffee, snacks, and resources.

🍲 Feeding for Finals

Make sure to nourish your brain during finals week! Feeding for Finals offers free meals from local restaurants during finals week from Dec. 11-13, 11 am – 2 pm. Registration opens daily on MU Engage for same-day tickets and will remain open until capacity is filled.
